I recently motored to Half Moon Bay towing my 23' Farralon to meet up with my buddies from the Oakdale Off Shore fishing club. We baited 7 pots and motored out the 240 line past the three mile mark and placed and marked the pots in 150-205'. We came out the following morning to find the first pot empty. We then looked for two and three unsuccessfully. We went to four which had seven keeper crabs. Five, six and seven were missing. We rebaited one pot and left it in 205', near where we orignnally placed it. We returned the following morning and it was gone. They're not only stealing crabs. They're stealing the gear too!!
