Hi Kirk,

I've been reading your blog off/on for the better part of 2 years. As a passionate-fisherman-bordering-armchair-amateur-ichthylogost, I respect your devotion to all things aquatic. I also respect your drive to find a career that matches your passion. I, unfortunately, sold out. I'm in the high-tech Silly Valley, working as a corporate drone solely to support my young family. And I don't have the guts to do what I wanna do: Start up a sustainable, closed-loop aquaculture farm. There's been some efforts with cobia down south, but I'm thinking along the lines of white seabass. The only problem is how to grow the sardines/anchovies/mackerel to feed the seabass. That, and getting enough stupid VC money to actually finance the deal. Thoughts?
